About Course

Welcome to the IMS Retail Cashier Program. This program is designed to help you understand the practical aspects of retail billing and cash operations using an ERP system. The training focuses on real retail scenarios so learners can confidently handle daily cashier responsibilities in a store.

The course begins with Sales, Billing, and Customer Transactions, where you will learn how to create tax and non-tax invoices, handle basic sales orders and quotations, issue credit notes, and process sales returns. You will also understand how billing affects stock in the system.

The next section covers Cash and Shift Control. Here you will learn how to manage cash during shifts, handle proper cash handovers, match system records with physical cash, manage shortages or excess cash, generate shift closing reports, and correct common billing errors.

The program also introduces Basic Reporting, including daily sales reports, collection reports, and item-wise sales summaries that help businesses track performance.

You will also learn Basic ERP Concepts, including how ERP systems work, role-based access, and the responsibilities of ERP users.

The entire training can be completed in 5-6 days (around 12 hours total). By the end of the course, you will be able to handle billing, payment collection, shift closing, and basic reporting independently.

This course is ideal for +2 graduates from Management, Commerce, or IT backgrounds, and anyone interested in starting a career in retail operations. After completing the training, participants will receive certification and placement support to begin their career in the retail sector.
